October 16 - World Food Day On World Food Day, give thanks for the witness of Anne and Willie Langdji, whose work in rural Linguere, Senegal, assists farmers and migrating herders historically in conflict over land use. They assist people in growing new, income-generating crops that can feed cattle, minimize migration, and help herders improve their stock, which improves milk production, producing income for women and providing nutrition during the dry season. _ Thank you for participating in "Prayer Ventures" daily prayers for ELCA ministries.
