December 22 Pray for the ministry of Grant and Kate Applehans serving in Namibia. Kate serves with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Namibia (ELCRN) as administrative assistant to the bishop, while Grant serves as a volunteer librarian at Paulinum United Theological Seminary. Give thanks for the diversity of gifts that are shared in the companion relationship between the ELRCN and the ELCA Northeastern Iowa, New Jersey and Metropolitan Washington, D.C., synods.
