Lutheran Bishop Joins Faith Leaders to Challenge G-8 and G-20

WASHINGTON (ELCA) -- The convening and working together of
interfaith leaders serves as a "powerful symbol" in contributing to a
better future for the world, according to the Rev. Jon V. Anderson,
bishop, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Southwestern
Minnesota Synod, Redwood Falls. Anderson attended the World Religions
Summit in Winnipeg, Manitoba, June 21-23.
