Title: ELCA Worship Resources Soon to Be on Disk ELCA NEWS SERVICE - NEWSBRIEF April 24, 1996 LUTHERAN WORSHIP MATERIALS ON DISK A series of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America worship resources will soon be available on disk along with related copyright-licenses designed to help congregations in planning and publishing weekly worship folders. Included are official rites of the church, new and alterative worship materials for weekly and seasonal use, and other materials required to support congregational self-publishing. Plans call for a sampling of electronic resources at the ELCA's 65 synod assemblies this spring with the first round of products available for purchase in the fall. "These resources represent a tremendous departure from past practice and are a direct response to congregations' requests," said the Rev. Paul R. Nelson, ELCA director for worship. The ELCA's Division for Congregational Ministries worked with Augsburg Fortress, the publishing house of the ELCA, to make these resources available.
