HOT LINE WELCOMES LUTHERANS TO OLYMPICS

Lutherans attendng the Olympic Games in Atlanta this summer will
be greeted by "Lutherans Welcome `96," a cooperative venture of
the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) and Lutheran Ministries of Georgia.
"Lutherans Welcome `96" will provide a Lutheran Hot Line
Information Service, available for 30 days (July 7-Aug. 7) to
serve and support the many Lutheran visitors to the area.
Staffed by volunteers, the hot line will provide information
about local churches, special events, directions, and medical and
dental support services.  The number will be 770/641-6300.
"Lutherans Welcome `96" is funded by the ELCA's Southeastern
Synod, the Florida-Georgia District of the LCMS, and Aid
Association for Lutherans and Lutheran Brotherhood, both
fraternal benefit societies.
