Title: ELCA VIDEO RESOURCES: RURAL, REVIVAL
MINISTRIES
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America has
produced two new video resources on rural and revival
ministries for use in congregations. "Disciple!" contains
strategies to help congregations call and equip Christians
"to reach out and transform lives." The interactive video
workshop journeys across the country to share insights
from ELCA congregations on ministry in daily life, prayer,
Bible study, small groups and youth. "Disciple!" features
short segments that can be used for workshops or adult
forums. "Renewed!" is a two-part interactive video on
rural ministry. "Renewed!" addresses questions such as:
How do you grow a rural congregation in a declining area?
How effective are small group ministries and
contemporary worship in a rural or small town parish?
The video comes with a study guide for group discussion.
Both resources were produced by the ELCA's education
and evangelism team.
