The Rev. H. George Anderson, presiding bishop of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, will be featured
July 14 on the #Protestant Hour# Radio Network. The
title of his message, #... And the Seed Will Grow!# focuses
on a Bible story about a man who went out to plant a
crop. Anderson talks about hope as God#s people in a
very complicated world. This radio ministry, on the air
since 1945, is heard weekly by more than 2.5 million
listeners from coast to coast. The #Protestant Hour#
features sermons by leading ministers from the program#s
participating denominations, ELCA Episcopal Church,
Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and United Methodist
Church. Anderson also talks about the future of the
ELCA -- his focus on outreach, a more diverse church,
leadership development and a strong spiritual core.
